Research use only
All Upward Research Co. products are for lawful in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not for human or animal consumption, administration, or application. Permitted activities are controlled laboratory investigation and related analytical work without administration to a living person or animal. No product listing or support exchange authorizes a prohibited use.
Purchaser certification
You confirm that you are at least 18, satisfy the Customer Eligibility Policy, and are purchasing for your declared, permitted independent research or as an authorized representative of the research organization identified in your account. Your descriptions of the purchaser, represented organization, research location, and intended laboratory use must be accurate.
You and the represented organization are responsible for appropriate knowledge, facilities, procedures, protective measures, and applicable legal, safety, and institutional requirements.
Prohibited uses
Do not ingest, inject, inhale, implant, apply, or otherwise administer products to a human or animal. Do not use them for clinical treatment, diagnosis, disease prevention, veterinary care, weight management, bodybuilding, performance enhancement, cosmetic application, recreation, or other personal purposes.
Do not use or formulate materials as drugs, supplements, foods, cosmetics, or other products intended for human or animal use. Compounding or preparation for human or veterinary administration is prohibited. Do not disguise personal use as laboratory research or submit false information to obtain purchasing access.
No medical or personal-use guidance
Upward does not provide dosing, injection, administration, personal-use reconstitution, treatment, or prescription-substitution advice. Product information does not establish safety or effectiveness for human or animal use. Requests revealing prohibited use may be limited to order, account, safety, or compliance assistance and may trigger an eligibility review.
Handling and safety
Review available product and safety information and establish appropriate laboratory controls, protective equipment, storage, handling, and disposal procedures. Do not assume a material is harmless because it is labeled Research Use Only. Stop use of affected materials when packaging, labeling, or a safety discrepancy needs investigation.
Organization use and diversion
An authorized representative may purchase for the permitted research activity of the organization identified in the account. Authorized personnel may handle materials within that activity subject to these restrictions. This does not authorize credential sharing, resale, brokering, acquisition for undisclosed third parties, or distribution outside the permitted research activity.
Do not export, reexport, forward, or divert products outside the permitted domestic-use program or conceal the destination. Authorized returns and appropriate lawful disposal remain permitted.
Harmful and unlawful activity
Do not acquire or use products for deliberate poisoning, unlawful violence, chemical or biological weapons, unlawful work involving hazardous agents, or other unlawful harmful activity. Do not evade legally required safety controls or conceal information material to a lawful transaction.
Enforcement
Upward may review relevant information, request clarification, place a transaction on hold, cancel an order, or restrict purchasing when a material concern arises. This does not add a separate approval step to ordinary purchases by an eligible account. Serious or repeated violations may result in refusal of future purchases. Use restrictions do not remove an independently applicable duty to investigate a valid product complaint or provide a legally required remedy.
